As with all of my sock designs, this is a cuff-to-toe project. I fell in love with this lace from Weldon’s #23. It took me awhile to decipher knitting language from another era & then put it in the round, but I just love the look & feel of this lace. I used it to border the Seaside Cottages Shawl pattern also. It has a great ribbing effect which works so well for socks, but lies beautifully when worked flat.
Pattern includes 3 gauges and can be knit with any heavy fingering or sport wt. Careful swatching recommended.
