Wave your Trek flag proudly with this Lower Decks inspired poncho.

It is worked as a traditional V-shaped poncho worked sideways to achieve the pointed shoulders, then it switches to having the V in the front and back, as the uniforms do in the show, either animated or in the live-action crossover with SNW.

This pattern has a nicely textured stitch for the shoulder, plus a pretty lace mesh at the bottom. I’ve also included a stitch diagram for the lace, if you’re a visual learner.

It is written for Hobbii Twister Solid yarn, 2 balls of your division color, but it can easily be changed to just about any sport or DK weight yarn. LDS uses nice, bright, primary colors which are easy to find. Are you Command material like Mariner and Boimler? Choose red. Or Science like Tendi? Then you want Royal Blue. And it’s Operations Gold for Rutherford. There are no wrong answers! You’ll also need one ball of black and just a quarter of a ball of white.

Instructions are given for small/medium or large/XL.

LLAP!
