A one skein cowl with textured border and easy lace interior.

Materials:

Approximately 260 yards of DK weight yarn. This pattern was designed as a one skein pattern for Dark
Sea Yarn’s Schooner base.

Size US 5 (3.75mm) circular needles with a 24” cable

1 stitch marker

Gauge: 7 rows x 7 stitches in Seed Stitch pattern

Finished size: 28” long and 5.5” wide

Notes: This pattern is a long cowl meant to be worn loose, or wrapped twice for closer coverage. The
size could be adjusted as desired. You’d need only keep an odd number of stitches for the seed stitch
border to work, and a multiple of 10 + 3 stitches for the leaves pattern to work. Please note that
adjusting your size will require a different yarn yardage than the pattern recommends
