“Secrecy” is a petite, figure hugging cardigan with a beautiful lace motif on the back. It is simple to knit, with seamless top down construction using the contiguous method developed by Susie Myers that allows you to try it on as you go and adjust the size as needed for a perfect fit. The pattern provides instructions for both a cropped and longer version.

The pattern is available as a single download or as a part of ”Sense of Lace Collection”.

Sizes: 28 (30, 32, 34, 36, 38, 40, 42, 44, 46, 48, 50)”
The cardigan is designed with zero to small amount of negative ease. If you would like the sweater to be less fitted (like the yellow sample), choose one size larger than your usual bust measurement. The sample shown is 32” 80cm with 2” 5cm positive ease.

Gauge: 22 sts and 32 rows per 4” 10cm in stockinette stitch on the larger needles after blocking.
Please note that I knit loosely so you may need a different needle size to obtain gauge.

Materials:
* Malabrigo Yarn Silkpaca, Lace / 2 ply (70% Alpaca, 30% Silk) 1 skein/ 420 yards (384 meters): 3 (3, 3, 4, 4 5, 5, 5, 5, 6, 6, 7) skeins or approx. 950 (1100, 1250, 1400, 1550 1710, 1870, 1940, 2100, 2260, 2420, 2580) yards 869 (1006, 1143, 1280, 1417 1564, 1710, 1774, 1920, 2067, 2213, 2360) meters or any lace weight yarn that knits up to gauge with TWO STRANDS OF YARN HELD TOGETHER.
Amounts given are for the cropped version. Please add approx. 350 yards/320 meters of yarn for the longer version.

If you are using a heavier yarn and plan on knitting with
only one strand, you should reduce the yardage by half. This will be accurate as long as you knit at the gauge stated in the pattern of 22 sts and 32 rows for a 4” 10cm square.
