Do you have a Secret Admirer … or are you a Secret Admirer? Or, maybe not so secret? Admiration is a powerful tonic both as the giver and as the receiver.

We are designing a shawl this year for the Valentine’s Day KAL sure to stir both secret and open admiration from those who behold your knitting and your wearing of the shawl.

What you will receive today in your download is the Intro Packet with further instructions and information about participation in this year’s KAL.

Use of color will be key in this year’s KAL, so we are recommending 3 to 5 colors if possible, with one color being of particular contrast to the others. Also, speckles will work best.

You will be able to either fade your colors, do color blocking, or use our new geode color method (visit Fleckenstein and Friends and check out some of the photos in the Holiday 2018 KTOG thread for more info) to “paint” your pretty Valentine’s Day shawl as you go.
