Materials Needed:
5mm (H) hook, or hook needed to obtain gauge
4mm (G) hook for ties.
200-220 yards #4 worsted weight Lion Brand Wool-Ease in “Blush Heather” (please note this is not the same thing as “Thick n Quick”).
Yarn needle
Scissors
Stitches Used:
sl st = slip stitch
ch = chain
sc = single crochet
dc = double crochet
Additional Terms:
2 dc cluster = dc2tog in same stitch.
3 dc cluster = dc3tog in same stitch.
Cross stitch = sk st, dc in next st, cross over st just made and dc in skipped st.
Gauge:
14 sc sts in 4”
Each row 2-8 repeat measures approx. 2 3/4” tall
Bottom edging adds additional 1 1/4” of height
Measurements:
Height 7 1/2” tall
S/M = 22” around
L = 25” around
Additional Notes:
-ch 1 at beginning of round does not count as stitch.
-This pattern is worked in multiples of 12. Adjust size up or down as you wish.
-It is possible to make a 5 ft long infinity scarf by using a starting chain of 216, or a 6 ft long infinity scarf by using a starting chain of 252. You may wish to leave off rounds 14-17, and instead put a single round of sc along the top edge to finish it.
