Knitted in the round this is an intermediate level pattern if you already know how to knit stranded colorwork and this pattern assumes that you do. If you have not knitted stranded colorwork before then this is an experienced level pattern.
This is a very slouchy hat. If you prefer a more fitted hat then you can leave off one of the pattern repeats.

Instructions are given for head sizes S 21” (53 cm), M 22” (56 cm) and L 23” (58 cm)
