Sedona Crossing Scarf
The eye-catching lace of this scarf is worked in a variation of the Indian Cross stitch, which smoothly flows along and creates graceful, scalloped edges.
-
Single color yarns such as the cream shown in DK weight accent the texture of the pattern well, but multi-color yarns (Mushishi, shown) are effective too.
-
For best results, use yarn with good blocking capabilities (natural fibers suggested).
-
If the scalloped edge doesn’t appeal to you…you can block the edge straight!
-
Instructions include a photo tutorial for this version of the Indian Cross pattern stitch.
If you like this design, check-out the Kricka Top, a lightweight open-work top which is based on this stitch pattern!
