This is the eighteenth pattern release in the 7 Hats More ebook.

The embossed leaf panel and seed rib alternate around the body of this slouchy styled hat. Because of embossed pattern stitches widen and then narrow, the body and crown of the hat are quite stretchy giving a greater ease in fitting.

Embossed stitches almost seem to pop out of the knitting, giving them a greater depth than some other types of leaf pattern.

Materials: 170 – 220 yds sport weight yarn, 3.25mm US #3 16-inch circs for ribbing, 3.75mm US #5 16 inch circs and dpns for body, markers and the regular notions.

It was fun seeing how each hat knit in the different yarns, each has its own charm. It is one of the best things as a designer to see how each knitters makes a pattern their own.
