This is my own design knitting pattern for a purse with a metal clasp frame opening. The pattern includes instructions for three sizes of frame, 4, 5 and 6 inches but the pattern is easily adapted to fit any size frame and instructions are included for how to do this. Also included are the instructions for the bow, rosettes and flowers to decorate your purse.

I have made these ones shown in Stylecraft Special double knitting wool but any double knitting / light worsted weight yarn using 3.75 to 4.5mm (US size 5 to 7) needles can be used.

Tension is not 100% important as you knit to fit the frame.
