Seed Stitch Blanket
This PDF pattern includes written English instructions, as well as a pattern template. All Beginner Patterns also include additional photos and step-by-step stitch instructions!
The Seed Stitch Blanket Pattern is a repeating design of alternating knit and purl basket weave texture. This is a reversible pattern - it looks the same on both sides! This is a Beginner Pattern, perfect for loop yarn finger knitters who have completed simple knit-stitch blankets and are looking to move on to learning more interesting stitches and stitch combinations.
SKILL LEVEL: Easy.
SUGGESTED MATERIALS: 8 balls of Alize Puffy yarn (3.53oz, 100g) (Image shown is the colour ‘437’).
SUGGESTED TOOLS: No needles required (finger knitting). Scissors.
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: Approx. 42” x 47” (107 cm x 119 cm).
PLEASE NOTE: This pattern will work with any brand of loop yarn, but keep in mind that the size of the loops, and size of the balls/skeins of each brand is different.
Bernat Alize Blanket-EZ can be substituted and the blanket will be the same size, but you will only need 5 skeins of yarn. Lion Brand Off-The-Hook, Lion Brand Crayola Off-The-Hook, and Red Heart Loop-It yarns can all be used with this pattern, but will yield a blanket with smaller overall dimensions. You will also need more balls/skeins to complete the pattern as is.
