These textural striped mittens are knit with 3.5oz/100gms of worsted weight yarn on two size 5 circular needles. They are sized to fit larger hands, ie. men, and feature a ribbed cuff and knit-in thumb gusset for comfort and good fit.

Any worsted weight yarn will work. For extra warmth and ease of care I suggest superwash wool, such as Cascade 220 Superwash, or a wool blend such as Berroco Vintage.

If you prefer using double-pointed or magic loop, it should be fairly easy for you to convert to either of those methods.
