Seed Stitch T-Top Baby Sweater
This is a T-shaped sweater knit in one piece starting at the bottom front hem and ending at the back hem. Sleeves are made using a live cast on. There are two seams, each side and across the sleeves. It is a very quick knit, perfect for any skill level and takes minimal time.
Skills required: CO, K, P, Seed stitch, Live cast on, bind off.
Newborn size takes less than a skein of Red Heart Super Saver, 24 mo. size will take approximately 2 skeins. Check your gauge if using a lighter weight worsted such as Caron Simply Soft.
For a shorter length on the sleeve decrease the amount of cast on stitches for the sleeves by 10 to 15 stitches. If you desire less width in the chest/sleeves decrease the number of rows you knit across for sleeves.
