This knitting pattern is for an easy to knit seeded rib hat that is knit in the round, on circular knitting needles, so there is no seam. If you are familiar with knitting in the round, knit and purl stitches then you can complete this hat easily in a day or two.

The pattern uses a medium weight #4 yarn, approx. 200 yards. The needle size used is a circular US 10, with a 16 in. long cable. There are two versions of the hat - one is a little longer and worn turned up and the other is shorter and does not need to be turned up. In the photos the blue one is the longer version. The hat is one size and will fit an average size teenager or adult head - the stitch is stretchy and comfortable to wear.
