Seedling
Close-fitting, cropped jacket in seed stitch. Lower body is worked in one piece to the armholes; then back and fronts are divided and worked separately to the shoulders. Stitches for sleeves are picked up around the armhole, and sleeves are worked circularly down to the wrist.
Fit: Close fitting (1-2” / 2.5-5 cm)
Measurements:
- Chest: 36 (40, 44)“ / 91.5 (101.5, 112) cm
- Length: 15.25 (15.5, 16.5)“ / 38.5 (39, 42) cm
Yarn: 7 (8, 8) skeins La Lana Wools of Taos Forever Random Fines Obverse (60% Romney wool, 40% yearling mohair; about 118 yd / 108 m in 2 oz / 57 grams). Shown in Zulu Prince.
Needles:
- Body: US 7 and 9 / 4.5 and 5 mm, 24” / 60 cm circular needles
- Sleeves: US 9 / 5.5 mm, 16” / 40 cm circular, and set of 4 double-pointed needles; and US 8 / 5.5 mm, set of four double-pointed needles
