PG 4
Row 6: Bo 3, p33, pm, p10, pm, p to end. Turn. — 76 sts.
Seedling Vest is worked in the round from the bottom up. The construction of most of the seed stitch boarders are integrated into the pattern, so only the stitches at the armholes need to be picked up. German short rows are used to create the shoulders, and Kitchener stitch to graft those pieces together.
Finished Measurements and Yardage Requirements
circumference: 41 in / 104 cm
length (from shoulder to hem): 22 in / 55.5 cm
yarn used: about 500 yds / 250 g
The yarn used in the sample was White Barn Farm Sheep and Wool “Light Worsted/DK”. I suggest that you over budget on the amount of yardage necessary to complete the project, as each knitter knits differently and there may be a discrepancy in the actual amount of yarn used.
