This pattern will have to use #000 needles and lace weight yarn to fit gauge and the dolls. Larger needles or fingering yarn Will Not Work! The shrug is knitted with #2 in order to give it the lacy look. If you want to knit for these dolls you need to get small.
The shrug took about 4 yards of lace weight. The rest will take a little more, more of the white than the colored strips, of course, but I did not measure.
I worked buttonholes down the back. You can use those tiny “Barbie” buttons this time! Or opt for snaps.
