Seeing Stripes Cardigan
The Seeing Stripes Cardigan is knit from the top-down, using Susy M’s contiguous construction method; with lace weight yarn that is held double for the striping effect.
Two different colors are held together. Color 1 with 1, then color 1 with 2, and color 2 with 2. The pattern includes instructions for short or ¾ length sleeves.
Sizes:
XXS (XS, S, M, L1) (L2, XL, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL) to fit chest sizes 32 (34, 36, 38, 40)(42, 44, 48, 52, 56)“ /82 (87, 92, 97, 102)(107, 112, 122, 132, 142) cm
Yarn:
Anzula Wash My Lace (100% Superwash Merino)(990 yds/905m per 115 gr. skein) – 1 (1, 1, 1, 1)(1, 2, 2, 2, 2) skein(s) of Color 1 & Color 2 for short sleeves;
1 (1, 1, 1, 1)(2, 2, 2, 2, 2) skein(s) of Color 1 & Color 2 for ¾ length sleeves;
or Lace weight yarn in 860 yds/785 m per 100 gr.
Color 1: 800 (825, 850, 900, 950)(990, 1050, 1100, 1150, 1200) yds/730 (755, 780, 825, 870)(905, 960, 1005, 1050, 1100) m for short sleeves, add 100 yds/90 m for ¾ length sleeves.

Gauge:
21 sts & 32 rows = 4“/10 cm pre-blocking,
20 sts & 28 row = 4“/10 cm 4“ after blocking
Needles:
U.S. 6 (4 mm) – 16“ & 32“ circular needles always use the size needle that gets gauge
U.S. 5 (3.5 mm) 16“ & 32“ circular needles
Optional: U.S. 0 (2 mm) 32“ circular needles– used to pick up & knit stitches for the front bands
Notions:
Stitch markers, hook markers, scrap yarn to hold stitches, tapestry needle
