I made this bandana and the Seeking Solace shawl (future release) at a particularly stressful time in my life.

For me this is the perfect recipe for restful knitting:

• a fun yarn paired with a solid
• no counting of lots of stitches
• garter stitch combined with an easy-to-work fun stitch so it’s relaxing, but there’s something to hold my interest
• an exciting result

You need 2 contrasting yarns in similar weights (there can be one weight difference providing they combine well). You’ll only need about 100m/110yds of each yarn (great for using up leftovers).

The pattern is listed as DK - but you can use sport, worsted or aran as well.
