This baby blanket pattern is worked in 4-square motifs. After making 16 of the motifs, they are stitched together and a border is added. The manner of the stitching is such that the self-striping yarn makes gradual color changes throughout the blanket. The seersucker pattern works nicely in solid colors as well.
