Lace motifs can be a great option for darker yarns because they allow the skin to show through, creating visual interest and setting off the stitch pattern. The key is to find a lace design where the eyelets are the key element, as opposed to the decrease ribs. I found this zigzag pattern and swatched it up, hoping that the eyelets would steal the show. Luckily, they did!
