Seffa Socks are worked with the magic loop method. The socks have a pretty graphic pattern with knit and purl stitches, twisted stitches, yarn overs and slipped stitches. The heel with gusset is shaped with a reinforced heel cap that is worked with slip stitches and short rows.

In this instruction, you work the socks with the Magic Loop method. You might as well work the socks on dpns, a short circular needle or any other needle system of your choice.

Tip: The leg’s pattern is not as stretchy as a regular leg worked in stockinette stitch. With larger ankles, use a 2,75 mm needle for the leg and continue with a 2,5 mm needle for the instep, once the heel is finished. Try on the leg, before knitting the heel to check if you like the length.

Du kannst die Socken auch mit Nadelspielen, einer kurzen Rundnadel oder jedem anderen Nadelsystem deiner Wahl stricken.

Tipp: Das Muster des Schaftes ist weniger dehnbar als ein glatt rechts gestrickter Schaft. Benutze bei stärkeren Fesseln eventuell eine 2,75 mm Nadel für den Schaft und stricke ab der Ferse mit einer 2,5 mm Nadel weiter. Probiere den Schaft an, bevor du die Ferse strickst und kontrolliere, ob dir die Länge gefällt.
