Yarns:

The pattern is for a Double Knit thickness yarn. The sample shown is worked in a 100% wool without nylon, giving that extra eco-friendliness and softness. Bluefaced Leicester is a hard wearing wool breed suited to this use.
The pattern will also work for West Yorkshire Spinners DK sock yarn, which does contain some nylon for extra strength, or any other yarn that gives gauge.

Accessability:

This pattern has been written for inclusive sock sizing including one extra width fitting larger, and one smaller, than standard recommended width fittings to be a more inclusive pattern.

The pattern has been formatted to be easy-read, with large clear text, so as to be low-vision accessible, and meet the recommendations of the British Dyslexia Association for accessible text documents. Standard abbreviations have been used throughout, if you require an abbreviation free version for screen reader access or other access needs, please get in touch.
