Have just one skein of gorgeous hand dyed fingering weight yarn? Then this is the perfect pattern for you! Selago uses one 100g skein of fingering weight yarn, plus 50g of scrap (or plain white) fingering weight yarn.

You will need to know how to:
Knit
Purl
Decrease (ssk, k2tog)
Increase (yo)
Cast on and off
Switch yarn colours

You will need:
100g fingering weight yarn
50g scrap yarn/any other contrasting fingering weight yarn you want to use
4.5mm knitting needles (size 7)
Scissors
Tapestry needle
Blocking mat and pins
