We thought it would be fun to put a Selbu Motif on a hat and got this.

It’s worked from the bottom up starting with Corrugated Rib, then a layer of Latvian Braid, then onto Color Work.

Directions for the Latvian Braid and Corrugated Rib are in the pattern.

Any sport or fingering weight yarn will work. If you use Malabrigo Arroyo, you can get 2 hats out of 2 skeins.

Sizing
Finished measurement is ~20” around.

Yarn
Malabrigo Arroyo or any sport or fingering weight yarn that will knit at 8 sts. to 1”

Gauge
8 sts. to 1 inch in Color work

Needles
16” Circular - Size 3
Double Pointed - Size 3
