Seleukaia Cardigan is the perfect addition to the Seleukaia Top. The classic design of the cardigan with a perfectly fitting shoulder, the deep V-neckline and a few contrasting colour accents flatters every figure and perfectly accentuates a special yarn such as Farouche from Natures Luxury.

Seleukaia Cardigan is knitted seamlessly from the top down. Starting with a provisional CO, the shoulder section is first formed with short rows. The individual work steps for the shoulder construction are explained in detail and easy to work. After the stitches for the sleeve caps have been picked up and after all parts have been joined, the yoke is knitted down to the armholes. After the sleeve stitches are put on hold, the body is first worked in a light A-line down to the hem. Then the sleeve stitches are taken back to work and the three-quarter long sleeves are finished in rounds. The sleeve length can be easily adjusted according to your personal preferences. Finally, stitches for the neckband are picked up from the front edges and the neckband is worked in garter stitch. The buttonholes are worked according to the 1-row-buttonhole method, which is explained in the pattern.

Seleukaia Cardigan ist die perfekte Ergänzung zum Seleukaia Top. Das klassische Design der Jacke mit einer perfekt sitzenden Schulterpartie, dem tief gezogenen V-Ausschnitt sowie wenigen Akzenten in einer Kontrastfarbe schmeichelt jeder Figur und bringt ein besonderes Garn wie Farouche von Natures Luxury perfekt zur Geltung.
Seleukaia Cardigan wird nahtlos von oben nach unten gestrickt. Beginnend mit einem provisorischen Maschenanschlag wird zuerst die Schulterpartie mit verkürzten Reihen geformt. Die einzelnen Arbeitsschritte für die Schulterkonstruktion sind detailliert erklärt und leicht nachzuarbeiten. Anschließend werden alle Teile verbunden und die Jacke wird bis zu den Armausschnitten hinunter gestrickt. Nachdem die Ärmelmaschen stillgelegt sind, wird zuerst der Körper in leichter A-Linie beendet. Anschließend werden die Ärmelmaschen wieder in Arbeit genommen und die dreiviertel langen Ärmel werden in Runden zu Ende gearbeitet. Die Ärmellänge lässt sich leicht entsprechend Ihren persönlichen Vorlieben anpassen. Zuletzt werden aus den Vorderteilkanten Maschen für die Blende aufgenommen und diese wird kraus rechts gestrickt. Die Knopflöcher sind nach der 1-row-buttonhole-Methode gearbeitet, die in der Anleitung erklärt ist.
