SELJA ♡ NORWEGIAN SWEATER
Updated version
This could be a sweater for a person you love ♡
The sweater is a top down hybrid, which means that the yoke is worked first, cast on provisionally and knit from the bottom up.
After the yoke and neckline has been completed, the body and sleeves are worked top down from the cast on edge.
It might sound complicated, but it is easy :)
And the best part is you get to knit the most fun part first; the stranded hearts pattern!
And the sleeves and body length can be adjusted to fit perfectly because you knit them top down, and can try it on along the way!
The sweater is very basic and simple, and
the short rows creates a comfortable fit.
Choose between plain, high neck or crochet edgings.
Written pattern with clear graphic charts.
Feel free to experiment with colors.
If you need a larger sweater, try bulkier yarn,
and larger needles.
Larger needles produce a smaller gauge (fewer stitches per inch) and smaller needles produce a larger gauge (more stitches per inch).
The sweater pictured is knitted in a soft wool, Dale Cotinga.
But it would look good in many other nice wool yarns.
One size womens M/L
