The yarn-overs and decreases of this Donegal Tweed-inspired hat create a curving ribbed pattern that invokes a gentle ocean swell, one a seal might happily ride on a misty Irish morning before coming to shore and shedding her skin.

With some challenging stitches (p3t tbl), I’d suggest this one for advanced beginners to intermediate knitters.
