SELMA - THE PONY BLANKEY
Selma the pony blankey is a soft teddy blankey, knit from mainly single crochet in spirals. The different parts are made separately and are then assembled using a tapestry needle.

The pattern uses one strand of Peruvian Highland wool. If you use any other yarn, pick a crochet hook that is one size (1 mm) smaller than recommended for that particular yarn when knitting the head and legs. That way the stitches will be tight enough to not show the stuffing.

The pony is easy to individualize by adding for example a blaze while making it, or by stitching on white markings afterwards. Gauge is not important in this project, but a thicker yarn or a larger needle will produce a larger pony.

The pattern uses US crochet terms.
