Selma pullover
The Selma pullover is made top-down and in a knit-like stitch which is a variation of the waistcoat stitch. It can be made striped (based on a diagram) or one-colored.
It has 2 options for the neckline
- A crew neckline
- A turtleneck
The sweater also has the option to add or omit one round of increases, which are marked with grey in the included diagram. The 2 different chest measurements are given below, so choose the option that gives you the best fit.
Ease: The pullover is designed to have 5 – 10 cm / 2-4 in. of positive ease
Size: (1-2-3-4) (5-6-7-8) (9)
Chest circumference: (75-82,5-92,5-102,5) (115-123,75-133,75-143,75) (151,25) cm / (29.5-32.5-36.5-40.25) (45.25-48.75-52.75-56.5) (59.5) in.
Chest circumference with extra increase (marked in the diagram): (80-87,5-97,5-107,5) (120-128,75-138,75-148,75) (156,25) cm / (31.5-34.5-38.5-42.25) (47.25-50.5-54.5-58.5) (61.5) in.
Yarn category: DK (Double knitting)
Yarn suggestion: Socki Linen from Adlibris (Sweden) (80 & wool, 20 % linen, 100 g = 200 m) or Double Sunday from Sandnes garn (100 % wool, 108 m per 50 g).
Yardage: (450-500-550-600) (650-750-800-900) (950) grams or (981-1090-1199-1308) (1417-1635-1744-1962) (2071) yds. For a 2 coloured version the yardage will be split, about 60 % of 1 colour and 40 % of the other.
Hook: Size 6 mm /US J-10 or what you need to get gauge. A different one for the ribbing: 4.5-5mm /US 7-H-8.
Difficulty level: 7/10
Gauge:
16 sts per 10 cm / 4 in.
17 rows per 10 cm / 4 in.
The swatch has to be made in the round.
The stitch pattern:
Waistcoat stitch, ch 1 and skip 1, repeated in the round.
