This design combines multiple lines moving in different directions. The lower border and cuffs are knitted in a slip stitch mosaic design. Using two colours, the mosaic is worked in two parts: in the first part shade A is worked in garter stitch; in the second part shade B is worked in garter stitch. This creates an interesting optical illusion that changes when viewed from different angles.
