Overview
This project was inspired by my son’s love of sailing and the colorful flags used for communication while on the water. The project uses five colors of Shibui Knits Staccato, but would also make a great stashbuster for leftover bits and pieces of fingering weight yarn. The bulk of the cowl is knit back and forth as a scarf for the largest center panel. The “gaps” are filled and the edges are knit crosswise by picking up the edges and knitting perpendicularly to the main panel.
Yarn Requirements/Notions
