This is a simple pattern with increases above one another. It is made with a heavy 100% Cotton twine. It produces a mat which is easy to wash and has a low profile. It was designed to fit under a low slung door. The twine is about 125g to 100m in weight and is about 2mm thick.
The finished size at this gauge is 35 x 70 cm. But it would be very easy to continue the pattern on to a larger size.
