This scarf has beaded ruffles and combines two different yarns (7-8WPI silk and laceweight mohair) to create an open, almost lacy effect.

The pattern contains two construction methods for the scarf:

• in sections, in order to accommodate beads with smaller holes that cannot be placed with a small crochet hook; and

• in one piece, to accommodate beads with larger holes that can be placed with a small crochet hook.
