It’s bright, it’s colourful, it’s made with dreamy yarn…My heart told me I needed a re-make of the Island Time because they’re just so fun. This time, I went with the original colour combos from the original pattern, BUT changed the tones of the yarn just a bit. It’s less tropical, more subtle, yet still bright, fun candy for the eyes. I hope you love this version as much as I have!!!

This pattern is worked up using the large sunburst granny square.

The pattern uses Hue Loco Yarn 100% SW Merino in Semisolids and Speckled DK weight (230yds/100g) and a 4.5mm hook (size 7).
Pattern includes all colours used and the yarn quantities as well as exact positioning. My gift to you is taking the work out of colourwork! In addition, you will receive the colours/arrangements for the “Scenic Route Island Time Blanket” which is shown in the last 3 photos. All combo’s and the link to the yarn kit will be provided.

The final blanket size was: Approximately 48”x 62” After Blocking

Pattern will include:

  • yarn amounts/quantities.
  • yarn colours/colour legend
  • links to yarn kits for Semisolids and Scenic Route as well as alternative yarn suggestions
  • stitch glossary.
  • printable pdf of blanket graph.
  • full colour chart of all squares and their positioning so you can make this EXACT colour copy!
  • full written instruction for the granny square used (large sunburst granny square).
  • written and video tutorial for border.
  • video tutorials for the granny square as well as the continuous join as you go method.

Happy Crocheting Everyone!
