I never thought I was a particularly huggy person but if there’s one thing the pandemic has taught me it’s that, actually, I AM a huggy person and boy do I miss hugs!?
Wrapping myself up in knitwear or gifting a smooshy yarny hug to a loved one is the next best thing and this quick and easy knit means you can wrap everyone in hand knitted hugs in next to no time.
Choose your style – cosy and fitted one skein wonder or warm and stylish two skein double wrap.

Single wrap: width 18cm/7”

Yarn used

Eden Cottage Yarns Pendle Chunky (100% superwash Merino wool; 100m/109yds per 100g)
Single wrap: 1 skein (colourway Hyssop)
Double wrap: 2 skeins (colourway Silver Birch)

Yarn substitution

Any soft bulky/chunky yarn can be used, or a combination of yarns held together to get gauge.
You will need 100m/109yds for the single wrap cowl and 200m/218yds for the double wrap.

7mm straight or size required to get gauge
