SENTIERO HAT is a simple design, ideal for the whole family. Characterized by sections of moss stitch, clearly delimited by a pair of twisted knit stitches, this accessory features a distinctive detail: the twisted knit ribbing, a sort of faux seam, which gives the crown of the hat a three-dimensional shape.
This effect stands out especially when the cap is worn slightly slouchy on the top, with a bit of empty space above the head. However, if you prefer a snugger fit, it can be worn closer to the head, but the threedimensional effect of its structure will be attenuated.
Sentiero Hat can be paired with the soft Sentiero mittens by Federicaknits, creating a perfect coordinated look to complete the winter style.

• 3.50 mm circular needles (US 4) with a 40-cmlong cable (16 in), or size to meet gauge
• Set of 3.50 mm (US 4) DPNs to knit the crown, or
circular needles with a longer cable for magic

To fit a head circumference of 40 46, 52, 56, 60 cm – corresponding to 15.75 18, 20.5, 22, 23.5 inches.
The finished size will be approximately 4-6 cm (2 in) smaller than the head circumference.
Finished height: 16 18, 20, 20, 22 cm –
corresponding to 6.25 7, 8, 8, 8.75 inches.
The hat shown in the pictures is a size Child-Teen.

SENTIERO HAT è un cappellino dal design semplice, ideale per l’intera famiglia. Caratterizzato da sezioni a grana di riso, chiaramente delimitate da una coppia di maglie a diritto ritorto, questo accessorio presenta un dettaglio distintivo: la costolina a diritto ritorto, una sorta di falsa cucitura, che conferisce alla calotta del cappello una forma tridimensionale.
Questo effetto risalta soprattutto quando il cappellino viene indossato leggermente morbido sulla parte superiore, con un po’ di spazio vuoto sopra la testa.Tuttavia, se si desidera un capo più avvolgente, è possibile indossarlo in modo più aderente alla testa, però attenuando l’effetto tridimensionale della sua struttura.
