I found a single ball of colour-changing acrylic worsted yarn at the thrift store and brought it home. It took some time to find a pattern with a simple motif that would work up reasonably well with the yarn given its colouring – this cowl is the result. The word I thought of when I looked at this cowl was “undulate,” as the colours undulate around the cowl, so I called this Seomode which is Old English for “to rise, to undulate.”
