Stripes inspire me in so many ways… There’s something magical about them that makes projects fly off my needles. There’s always just one more stripe to complete. In this design I explore stripes taking different directions and shapes.
This boxy-style sweater is flattering for every body shape with its loose flowing lines, its v-neck and its sweet subtle striping.

Sizes:
XS (S, M, L, XL, XXL, 3XL, 4XL). Shown in size M on a 36” bust.
To fit chest size 28/30 (34, 38, 42, 46, 50, 54, 58/60) inches 75/80 (85, 95, 105, 115, 125, 135, 145/150) cm. The positive ease is built into the pattern. Choose a size according to your bust measurement and the list of sizes above.

Materials:
Yarn: 4 (4, 4, 5, 5, 8, 8, 8) skeins of Studio Sock by Neighborhood Fiber Co (100% Merino; 400 yds 366 m / 114 g) or other fingering weight yarn in 4 different colors. The sample was made using 4 Intepretations special colorways.
Color 1: 1 (1, 1, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2) skeins or 280 (340, 400, 460, 520, 580, 640, 760) yds 256 (311, 366, 420, 475, 530, 585, 695) m; shown in Navy.
Color 2: 1 (1, 1, 1, 1, 2, 2, 2) skeins or 240 (280, 320, 360, 400, 480, 520, 560) yds 220 (256, 292, 329, 366, 439, 475, 512) m; shown in Brown Pink.
Color 3: 1 (1, 1, 1, 1, 2, 2, 2) skeins or 240 (280, 320, 360, 400, 480, 520, 560) yds 220 (256, 292, 329, 366, 439, 475, 512) m; shown in Denim.

22 sts and 32 rows = 4” 10 cm in Stockinette st on US 4 3.5 mm needles.
