This pattern is dedicated to my best friend Britt and her fiance Tommy. They are to be married this September, and I designed (and knit!) this blanket as a wedding shower present. I’ve decided to offer it as a free pattern, so anyone can make one.

The blanket is knit in garter stitch, with a garter stitch lace boarder at each end. It works up very quickly, making it a perfect gift (mine only took about 2.5 weeks!). Please keep in mind the measurements take into account the weight of the yarn stretching the blanket, rather than relying on the gauge size. Different yarns may yield a slightly differently sized blanket.
