Sequence Half Circle
SEQUENCE HALF CIRCLE
The inspiration for this design is the beautiful art of sequence knitting. Sequence knitting is a technique, developed by Cecilia Campochiaro, where you knit the same sequence of stitches over and over again. A simple pattern, easy to memorize, can create a fascinating fabric.
In this design, you knit a sequence of knit and purl stitches on every row, and the shape of the wrap arises because you add stitches to the sequence.
The yarn I used for this sample came from my mother’s stash, a sportweight semi handspun. It’s not available anymore, but similar result will be reached with Ullcentrum 2 ply, MoekeYarns Elena, Holstgarn Supersoft (double strand) or Drops Belle.
