This luxurious wrap is a versatile style item – wearable in many fashions, it can easily be dressed up or down. The wrap is worked in three separate pieces – the heavily cabled center piece and two mirroring ‘wings’ worked in Reverse Stockinette Stitch with a built-in ribbed collar. This design utilizes the lofty nature of Shelter for a dramatic accessory that is warm while remaining light, cosy & easy to wear.
CONSTRUCTION
- Wrap is worked in 3 pieces and seamed together.
- Back piece begins at neck edge and is worked towards waist, increasing at either side at regular intervals to shape piece. Short rows are worked at the end of piece to create a rounded edge.
- Wing pieces are mirror images of one another, with the exception of the ribbed neck band which is worked on Left Wing only and seamed to the Back piece during finishing.
