Seren: a welsh name for star.

The first sweater I ever knit was a classic colorwork yoke. I fell in love the combination of interest and simplicity within the style. Seren felt like the perfect name - it can be both serendipitous and serene to knit yokes.

The colorwork motif was borrowed and then modified from my Quilted Florals Socks. I love the play on color, and the blending of geometry. I also later learned that Seren was a Welsh name meaning star. It felt like a magical coincidence.

Generous yarn support was provided by Jess of Ampersand Fibers and Ali of Explorer Knits and Fibers for this design. I am so honored to share both non-superwash and superwash versions of this design.
