At the foot you use sock yarn, which is more robust with a small proportion of synthetic fiber but is still wonderfully soft due to the same proportion of silk.
At the shaft you then switch to pure alpaca, a dream of fleece. It is precisely this that ensures beautiful and warm legs, despite the lace pattern.
First you knit a classic sock, but with a provisional cast on. Then you start at the cast on and finish the sock in the direction of the cuff.

Wenn du dich nicht zwischen „tragbar und robust“ und „edel-kuschelig“ entscheiden kannst, hast du eine goldrichtige Entscheidung getroffen. Serenas Lacesocks sind nämlich beides! Der Materialmix macht es möglich. Am Fuß verwendest du Sockengarn, welches mit einem kleinen Kunstfaseranteil robuster ist, durch den gleichen Anteil an Seide dennoch wunderbar weich ist.
Am Schaft wechselst du dann zu reinem Alpaka, ein Traum von Flausch. Eben dieser ist es dann, der trotz Lacemuster für schöne und warme Beine sorgt.
Zunächst wird eine klassische Socke gestrickt, allerdings mit provisorischem Maschenanschlag. Danach setzt du am Anschlag an und beendest die Socke in Richtung Bündchen.
