Serendipitous
The name for this cowl came about organically - it more accurately describes the process than the finished piece. I wanted to create a cable and seed stitch pattern and fell in love with the reverse side of the work as it grew.
In another version, I decided to try it as a moebius and even more magic - serendipity - happened. Whatever way you decide to make it, you’ll fun deciding which side to showcase each time!
Gauge is not critical to this project and instructions are included for modifying sizes as well as creating the moebius version.
The yarn used in this project has a slight bloom and subtle color variations throughout giving it a lovely heathered effect. I used just about the entire two balls - totaling just under 350 yards - and the overall dimensions are 41” total circumference by 11” in height. This amount of yarn will make both the regular version and the moebius version.
