Fingerless gloves are a staple for my kids in the winter. They can be worn around the house, or outside in chilly weather and because they don’t impede small hands from exploring they are not immediately removed as most hand gear typically is with young children. In very cold weather they are perfect to add an extra layer under mittens too. Plus, they’re cute, just like the people wearing them!
This pattern has four sizes with the following estimated age ranges: Toddler (1-2), Preschooler (2-3), Small child (4-6), Big Kid (7-10).
These are the perfect way to use up your sock yarn scraps!
