Ticker Knits involves knitting the same word across and then stacking the words. The cowl is knit as a tube (in-the-round). The graphs depict the words which are then repeated around the round and you just stop knitting the word image at the end of the round and begin anew. The seam is not symmetric because words and language aren’t, but they eye goes to discerning the meaning of the words and therefore little if any attention is paid to the seam.
