The serenity top is a knit like top, worked from side to side.
It is worked by making two pieces, which are not identical, front & back.
The main stitch used in this pattern is “officially” called ‘half double crochet slip stitch’. Which is a mouthful, that’s why I called it here in the pattern ‘closed half double crochet’ - or in short: chdc.

I chose a DK weight yarn (camel hair & merino and a silk / cotton blend) for this project but you can use a sport weight yarn or a worsted weight yarn, too.
Note that when blocking the piece will stretch to the sides as it’s made like a ribbed band.

The pattern is made-to-measure which means you can make it with whatever yarn & hook and in whatever size you want & I explain how to calculate everything and make it fit you best. The written instructions are for an oversized size S/M.

The top is made with about 14cm of positive ease and is supposed to be very loose, but you can alter that as you wish. The top requires beginner level skills.
