The Seronda cowl uses the same cable pattern as the Seronda sweater and hat. The cables are simple and easy to memorise and they give the cowl a beautiful textured fabric. It is knitted flat starting with a provisional cast on and joining at the end with a three-needle bind off, so it’s easy to customise the length.

MATERIALS
• 5 mm (US 8) circular needles, 60 cm / 24” long or 5 mm (US 8) straight needles.
• Another circular or straight needle, same size or smaller for the three-needle bind off.
• 6 markers
• Cable needle, tapestry needle and waste yarn.

SIZE AND DIMENSIONS
One size. Dimensions: 35 cm / 13.75” wide and
135 cm / 53” circumference.

YARN
450 m / 495 yards of worsted or aran weight yarn.
I used Lanasalpaca Donegal, colour: 110 (copper).

TENSION
16 st and 23 rows in 10 cm in stockinette stitch.
Gauge is not too important for this pattern but it can affect the amount of yarn you use or the final dimensions.

El Seronda Cowl es un cuello que usa el mismo panel de trenzas que el jersey y gorro Seronda. Las trenzas son sencillas y fáciles de memorizar y crean una textura preciosa. Se teje en plano empezando con un montaje provisional y uniéndolo al final con un cierre de tres agujas, así que es fácil adaptarlo al largo que tú quieras.

• Otra aguja circular de igual o menor grosor para hacer el cierre.
• 6 marcadores.
• Aguja auxiliar de trenzas(AAT) Aguja lanera.

TALLA y DIMENSIONES

Talla única. Dimensiones: 35 cm de ancho y 135 cm de circunferencia.

LANA

450 m de lana de grosor worsted o aran. Yo usé 5 ovillos de Lanasalpaca Donegal, color 110 (Cobre).

TENSIÓN

16 puntos y 23 vueltas en 10 cm en punto jersey.

La tensión no es importante para este cuello pero puede afectar la cantidad de lana que necesitas si quieres obtener las mimas medidas.
