Serpent Balaclava
The Serpent Balaclava is knit from top down with circular needles. You will start by working the top of the hood back and forth (in flat) in stockinette stitch. Then you will pick up stitches from both sides of the top and continue knitting back and forth until your hood reaches the correct length. After this you will work the neck in the round in rib and finish the balaclava with decorative ruffles to frame the neck and the face.
The pattern uses simple, beginner friendly, techniques. If you are unfamiliar with any of them, write the name of the technique in Google search. The internet and especially YouTube provides all the information you need to start and finish your project successfully!
Serpent is made with four strands held together.
100g of Pearl Mohair by Majo Garn equals 4 x 25g balls.
Happy knitting!
